Course Announcement:
Multicultural Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Program

  Cost: $500.00 - Class Fee
$50.00 - Registration

General Class Schedule:
Classes will meet on Thursday evenings from 6- 9 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am - 12 noon. English as a Second Language (ESL) classes will be held on Saturdays from 1-3 pm. Clinical Practicums are scheduled for two weeks in May, 2-10 pm for three days each week (a total of 6 days).

Course Requirements PRIOR to start of classes:

  • Previous Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification or permission from admissions committee
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR class (Infant, Child, Adult & AED)
  • Tuberculosis screening (Tuberculin skin test or chest x-ray-current within 1 year)
  • Hepatitis B immunization (need to have started the 3 shot series)

Course Application & Registration:
Preregistration will be September 1 – October 15 each year. ESL screening tests will be scheduled in October and individual interviews will be scheduled in November. Classes will begin in January.
