This faith-based organization was established to address the most pressing material and spriritual needs of low-income immigrants in the region and to empower immigrants to become community leaders. GRACE Ministries provides emergency food, clothing, household items and diaper distribution and healthcare information at seven United Methodist Churches in Northern Virginia.
GRACE Ministries also provides job training programs for personal care aides, certified nurse aides and for CDL/ESL training for school bus drivers. This combination of services is meant to provide as assistance to ease emergency situations and also provide a more long-term employment solution that will offer career opportunities in areas of significant workforce needs.
Existing since January 1999, GRACE Ministries is an independently incorporated 501(c)(3), community outreach program of the Arlington District of the United Methodist Church.
